25lb box of heirloom tomato seconds that's perfect for making sauce for canning or freezing. These are the same tomatoes as Coon Rock Farm's Heirloom Slicers and Romas but slightly damaged. About 1 tomato in 5 that gets picked ends up as a sauce tomato due to bruising, over-ripeness, cracks, splits, blemishes, bug bites or other imperfections that make them not pretty enough for slicers. You just cut out the bad parts and use the rest for your sauce.
***IMPORTANT*** As seconds, these tomatoes won't keep long. You need to use them within a day or two of receiving them and keep them refrigerated until you process them. If you can't process them on the the Tuesday or Wednesday they arrive, you should not order them. If you need them on the weekend you can contact Coon Rock Farm directly at orders@coonrockfarm.com to arrange weekend deliveries.
