COOKING:
Hemp flower is an herb and is used in cooking like other herbs. Make brownies, hemp infused Nutella or a new twist on a pot roast or Indian Saag. Cook it longer at a lower temperature to preserve the terpenes. Bake at 180-200F or less to preserve the desired ingredients.
BAKING:
Make your own brownies, cookies and other eatables from the flower. For the best quality, use the lowest temperature to get the job without diminishing the terpenes. We recommend 180F for a minimum of 20 minutes. Using the lowest possible temperature preserves the goodness. Grinding the flowers for brownies is done best in a food processor. Process the flowers and sugar together to produce a fine product.
STEEPING:
Steep a cup of hemp flower tea. Use the same amount as preparing black teas. Bring the water to a boil and remove from heat after a minute. Then add the flower. Take time to breath in the fragrances (terpenes). Start the healing instantly, crossing the limbic system for instant rewards. Enjoy your tea time.
SMOKING:
Our flowers are picked, dried, hand trimmed, cured and packaged for your enjoyment and healing. Our curing removes chlorophyl, creating a light amber color bud which smokes with an identifiable fragrance and flavor akin to a fine cigar. If you prefer to avoid the combustion products from traditional smoking methods, we suggest a dry herb vaporizer which provides all the flavor and effect with no combustion byproducts.
