From the sugar cane fields of south Louisiana to your kitchen table, Steen's products are one of the few remaining original "pure" food products. In 1910, Grandpa Steen didn't have any reason to add anything to his syrup, the Steen family still feels that way today. Grandpa's dream of making pure cane syrup has expanded through the years to include molasses, corn and cane syrup blends and cane vinegar.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC Sorghum Syrup was a staple in southern households in the days before refined sugar became available. Our Bourbon Barrel Aged Pure Cane ("Sweet") Sorghum is estate grown by a fifth-generation farmer in Eastern Kentucky. It is harvested by hand and then aged in a bourbon barrel to draw out the intensity of flavors. This all-natural sweetener is a favorite of chefs and adds an earthiness and hint of spice that other sweeteners cannot provide. We love adding a drizzle of Bourbon Barrel Aged Sorghum with a sprinkle of pepper over local goat cheese or serving as a condiment to an artisan cheese tray.

Steen's Cane Vinegar - 12oz glass bottle Steen's Cane Dark Molasses ~ 11.5oz glass bottle
This Pure Cane Vinegar is slightly sweet and the cane flavor makes Steen's Cane Vinegar an essential ingredient for vinaigrettes and gastriques. Use it to marinate and to pickle!

Dark Molasses has been an essential Steen's product for well over a century. We start with Pure Cane Syrup and give it a second cooking until a deep, rich molasses is achieved. It's the hearty flavor in gingerbread, cookies, brown sugar and dark rum!
